Masculine Shirt and Tie Card

Have you seen CTMH paper pack called Feels Like Home?  It has some beautiful paper in it.  I had a request to make a shirt collar card and knew I wanted to use the sugarplum floral paper, but noticed the striped paper which sparked the idea of making a shirt tie card.

This card is pretty easy to make.

To make the shirt:
On the long side, score at 1 and 2 inches.
Rotate and on the 2” score mark, cut to 1 1/8”.
Fold the 1” score line and adhere.  This will make the collar.
Make a tick mark at the center of the 2” score line.
Bring each corner to the center to form the collar.

To make the tie:
     Fold the 4” square diagonal.
Open and bring each corner to the center fold line.
Turn over and fold the top down around 1 1/2.
Fold the tip up half way.  Fold again.
Turn over, you can bring the tip over and fold each side in half to meet the center score line,
use adhesive to help keep the tie in shape.

To assemble card:
Center the tie on the shirt aligning the tie knot to the 2” score line.
Adhere the collar on top of the tie.  I used glue dots.
     Decorate as desired.

Recipe:
4 x 6 1/8 pattern cardstock
4 x 4 cardstock
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base

I used CTMH paper pack called Feels Like Home (X7243B) which can be purchased here.
